Foxes In Context [Work in Progress]

A paper on the history and aesthetics of the Furry fandom, centered around the community's function as a safe space for LGBTQ youth. This work draws on statistical data, archival materials, interviews, and my own experience in the fandom.



Visionary Art Environments of the Southwest [Work in Progress]
with Eileen Townsend

A January 2010 tour funded by SAIC's Roads Scholarship for Research and Travel. We visited 20+ art environments and many other roadside landmarks between the Mid-South and Los Angeles, meeting artists and documenting their work. I took photos, Eileen kept the journal, and hopefully we'll have an edited version of this material available soon.
